COVID-19 Post-Circuit Breaker Phase 2 Visit Arrangement


During this Post-circuit breaker period, the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) remains committed to facilitate contact between our inmates and their loved ones.

We are pleased to inform that Face-to-Face visit with up to 3 visitors will resume from 1 August 2020.  Please refer to the table below for details of the visit mode and frequency. Phone call privileges will cease after 31 July 2020.

Face-to-Face Visit 

- Limit to 1 per month


- Up to 2 per month if no face-to-face visit is booked within the same month

- Limit to 2 per week



-  Up to 4 per week if no Face-to-Face visit is booked within the same week

- 20 Minutes


- 30 Minutes

Who can make the booking

Main Card Holder (MCH) or approved visitor authorised by the MCH to make the visit booking

How many advance booking(s) can be made

For all general category of inmates, except Remand inmates, only one booking is allowed at a time.

For Remand inmates, up to two bookings are allowed at a time.

Restriction on number of visitors

a.    Limited to a maximum of 3 visitors (including children)


Entry and Safe Management Measures

a.    Entry into our premise will only allowed 45 minutes before the scheduled visit timing.

b.    Please register for your visit within the time frame of 45 minutes to 30 minutes before the scheduled visit timing, example:

- Visit scheduled at 9:00am

- Registration timing: 8:15am to 8:30am

c.     Maximum of 3 visitors (including children) per visit booking will be allowed into the premise.

d.    All visitors will be subjected to travel and health screening via SafeEntry. Visitors will be rejected if they do not meet the entry criteria.

e.    Masks must be worn at all times (including during the actual visit session) within our premise. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the visit session.

f.      Please be seated at the designated waiting area and maintain a safe distance between you and other visitors.

g.     You are required to leave our premise shortly upon completion of your visit.

h.    Visitors with no visit booking will not be allowed into our premise.

i.    Late comers will need to reschedule their visit to another date (subject to availability of slots).

Dress code

a.    In view of the Covid-19 situation, we will not be providing any covering to visitors. Please be reminded to be properly attired as you may be turned away from the visit. If in doubt, please bring along a jacket and wear a knee-length bottom.
