COVID-19 Phone Call Matters

During this Circuit Breaker Period, the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) remains committed to facilitate contact between our inmates and their loved ones. As part of our visit replacement initiative, phone call bookings are now available to help you maintain contact with your loved ones. The details for phone call booking are as follows:

Booking Period

From 2 May 2020 to 30 June 2020 (subject to review)

Duration of Phone Call

10 mins (4 May  to 31 May 2020)

15 mins (From 1 June to 30 Jun 2020)

(Please note that 15 mins phone call will be facilitated while we perform system upgrade to reflect the revised duration in iPRIS)

Frequency

All inmates (including remand) can make 2 phone call bookings during this period

How to make the booking

 

Booking can be made via www.ipris.sps.gov.sg

Alternatively, you can call our visit booking hotline at 65467169/ 70/ 71/ 72 during operating hours for assistance

Who can make the booking

Main Card Holder (MCH) or approved visitor authorised by the MCH to make the visit booking

How many advance booking can be made

Only one booking is allowed at a time. The call must be completed before the next booking can be made.

Who can receive the call

Only Approved and Registered Visitors

Other important notes

Phone calls can only be made to local phone numbers.

Calls will be made within 5 to 10 mins of the scheduled booking.

Calls will be made from SPS to the registered contact number, and will have no caller ID.

In our measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our inmates, phone call for inmates undergoing cohort segregation will be facilitated after the segregation period.

SPS will contact the MCH if there is any change to the phone booking made due to unforeseen circumstances.
